Meeting with the Diaspora – “All roads lead home”

On August 19, 2025, the Hirova City Hall, in collaboration with local cultural institutions, organized the event 'Meeting with the Diaspora' under the motto 'All roads lead home'.

The event brought together dear people who had left for the world, back to the village hearth, though their thoughts were always close to home. It was a day full of emotions – stories, hugs, tears of longing, smiles, and lots of good cheer. The natives were awaited with open hearts and a full table, turning the celebration into a 'tasty' and unforgettable one.

The local administration extends sincere thanks to all those involved in the organization: Harea Maria, Ciobanu Ecaterina, Mămăligă Valentina, Papaluță Maria, Roșca Vasile, Roșca Sergiu, Ghilușca Nicolae, Lotca Alexandra, Bunu Vladimir, Roșca Gheorghe, as well as the young women who delighted hearts with their songs: Purcel Anastasia, Roșca Vera, Marian Georgiana, and Țănașa Ana Maria.

The celebration was blessed by the parish priest Petru Țuruța, who brought a message of peace and light to the community.
